Are you a resident of Frederick County Maryland? If you are, you probably receive “The Recreater” activity guide. New for 2018, Upward Enterprises is teaming up with the Frederick County Maryland Parks and Recreation Department to bring our educational programs to everyone in the county. We have put together two very exciting programs.

Games and Initiatives for Teachers and Teams

This class will give you a whole library of games and initiatives for all ages. Learn physical and cognitive activities all while playing with a purpose. At the end of each class the the student will have the confidence and instruments to conduct games and initiatives for their group. This program is a great learning opportunity for teachers and coaches to bring what they learn from the class to their students/athletes.

Map and Compass Navigation

Learn the art of map and compass use. Navigate on the trail. This is a 3 hour outdoor program that develops your skills in a active learning environment. Adults and kids can work as one. This is a great program for families to join together, scouting group or anyone with a interest to learn multi-route orienteering.
