We have an experienced team of facilitators

Each and everyone of our staff bring their unique skills and knowledge to the team. All of the staff at Upward Enterprises go through annual training in which they receive certification on industry standards and are all CPR and first aid certified. Meet some of the team below and learn a little more about them.

Clive Felgate Owner • Operator

Clive Felgate is the owner and operator of Upward Enterprises and has over 45 years experience in physical and outdoor education. He served 27 years with the British Royal Air Force.  Clive is from the United Kingdom and enjoys spending time with his young son building dens and play sets. 
Travis

Travis

Travis joined the Upward Enterprises team in 2012 and has a wealth of experience in both team building and also ropes course construction. Travis is the lead facilitator who coordinates all  staff and consultants on major corporate groups. 

Travis enjoys working with all different groups from school children to Corporate groups alike.

Greg "Moose' Cronin

Moose

Greg Cronin, MPA, CCD, has been in the field of ropes course facilitation and adventure programming for more than 35 years. He is a nationally known conference speaker, consultant, staff trainer and award winning author.

Greg (aka Moose) specializes in high and low ropes course, staff training, leadership development and team building with clients all over the country.

Starting with his first ropes course experience in college, Greg has been active in the experiential learning community working as a consultant, course designer and lead facilitator. He has extensive experience with corporate groups, teams, schools, universities, camps, government agencies, non-profits, businesses of all sizes and special interest groups.

Greg has appeared on TV, radio and Capitol Hill as a spokesperson for youth development and the benefits of experiential education. He is a frequent contributor to American Camp Association’s Camping Magazine and is featured in ACA’s “By the Expert” book series with chapters on leadership and staff training.

Larry has logged over 2000 hours as a facilitator over the years. He first got exposed to experiential education by going through a UEI ropes course many years ago. He fell in love with the concept and has been doing it ever since. With several years of experience in teaching self improvement and motivational classes the ropes course was a perfect fit. Larry also teaches continuing education and various classes for the Frederick County Association of Realtors. He served as the 2008 president for the association and is a full time agent with Real Estate Team, LLC
